My first real chase started with a target of Lyons, NE as I got to Elkhorn, NE things started taking shape in Omaha.
I decided to head to Glenwood, IA and get in front of it, traffic was really bad getting across the bridge. As I got to the Bellevue, NE Toll Bridge the sky looked like mush and I figured I would not get a good shot anyway and decided to head back home.
I took the Toll Bridge back to Bellevue and on the other side found what I was looking for!
Got some great pics and learned the importance of a window mount for my camera for lightning shots.
I tried to stay ahead of the storm and headed to Platsmouth, JT informed me there was rotation over his house to my east but the Platsmouth toll bridge was closed, stuck in Nebraska!
