Well another bust we left after work from Council Bluffs and after waiting for something to develop we headed south. I picked up a webcam at Best Buy to attempt our first streaming chase, advice: IT WILL NOT WORK.
There was some development in NW MO so we took off for there, got a call from Andy that we were heading for a bust and advised it might be better to head back north to where he was outside of Malvern. Turned out to not be the best advice, then again this was a chase not ment to be.
We decided to go hang wih JT in Glenwood and as we pulled into his driveway Andy called back with information to head back to MO there was developement in ST JO. Once again showing how in experienced we are you can see the pictures below of us watching that storm go up before we turned around.
Had I known what I know now I could have told Andy what I was seeing in front of me and not on the radar!
Adding to the bust torture SG1 high centered in JT’s driveway ripping the airfoil out under the car and bending the exhaust sheild all to hell under the car.
We made it back to Council Bluffs, IA for a perfect sunset behind the FNBO building downtown Omaha, as we were passing the new FNBO branch at Metro Crossing. A perfect picture!
I pulled my camera out of the bag, focus and hit the shutter…
Battery Dead.
Got home that night to watch Andy stream the storm I was chasing to ST JO to see.
Yea, what a day.
