As you may know when away from home I always eat where I can’t at home, tonight we found a pizza place called Maverick’s.
Nice family place attached to the Roadway Inn with big tables if you have a bunch of chasers in tow. For the appetizer we had the chip basket, a little overpriced at $5.99 but the cactus sauce was good (a spicy ranch)
For the pizza we got a all meat medium for $13.99… The crust was kinda prefab but the toppings were all homemade including cuts of steak fajhita on it mmmmmm.
You colorado guys might be a good place to stop sometime!
Next stop for us Colorado Springs!
Have driven by, but have never tried … maybe next time!
